SEZ on the map of Moscow

In 2024, the Technopolis Moscow SEZ included four new sites: Krasnaya Pakhra, Tolstopaltsevo, Karacharovsky Mechanical Plant (KMP) and Khrunichev Space Center.

The opening of these sites is aimed at localizing innovative production facilities, developing new technologies and stimulating economic growth in strategically important industries.

The Krasnaya Pakhra site will become the basis for the production of batteries for electric vehicles, while Tolstopaltsevo will be used for innovative technologies in construction, including the production of large‑sized residential modules.

The KMP is focusing on the development of the elevator and vertical transport cluster, which will allow for technological sovereignty in this sector.

The Khrunichev Space Center will host an aerospace cluster focused on the production of solar batteries for spacecraft and the development of optical technologies.

The capital SEZ makes it possible to create an efficient enterprise communication system, enabling businesses to work together in order to create high‑quality products for the city and the nation. Technopolis Moscow SEZ, for instance, has developed into a host platform for inter‑industry clusters that are currently well‑performing. New sites joining the capital city’s special economic zone will bring out new points for the development of critical sectors. Businesses that places their manufacturing facilities there will be eligible to receive the resident status and enjoy various tax preferences.”
