- Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation on the establishment of a technology and innovation SEZ on the territory of the city of Moscow
2006
- Official launch of the SEZ
- Inclusion of the Alabushevo and MIET sites into the SEZ boundaries
- First resident - ZITC
2007
- Start of construction of infrastructure facilities at the Alabushevo site
2015 Institutional development: transfer of management to the Moscow City Government 2019

- Inclusion of the Mikron site into the SEZ boundaries
2016
- Transfer of SEZ management authority to the Moscow City Government
2017
- Inclusion of the Angstrem and Pechatniki sites into the SEZ boundaries
- Naming as Technopolis Moscow SEZ

- Start of construction of three ILIBs at the Alabushevo site

- Start of construction of the Rudnevo industrial park

- Commissioning of the first three ILIBs at the Alabushevo site
- Rudnevo industrial site received the status of an industrial park
2022
- 16 buildings of the first stage of the Rudnevo industrial park were commissioned
- Construction of the first building of the Electronics Innovation Center at the MIET site was completed
- Start of construction of two more ILIBs at the Alabushevo site
- Industry associations for electric vehicle building and photonics were established with involvement of SEZ residents
2023
- Addition of the sixth SEZ site — Rudnevo
- A children’s family center was opened at the Alabushevo site
- The Pechatniki site was integrated into the ambitious project of transforming the largest industrial area into a modern business hub, the new Yuzhny Port — Tekstilshchiki business center
- The Rudnevo site was visited by Russian President Vladimir Putin
2024
- The area of the SEZ expanded by 117 ha
- The SEZ includes four new sites: Tolstopaltsevo and Khrunichev Space Center, Karacharovsky Mechanical Plant (KMP), Krasnaya Pakhra
- The second building of the Innovation Center of the MIET site was put into operation
- The Technology for Diagnostics and Rehabilitation cluster was formed
- College of Electronics and Informatics opened on the MIET site
- Three buildings of the industrial technopark built with private funding were put into operation at the Alabushevo site
- V. Putin and S. Sobyanin opened the practical training platform for Moscow colleges at the Rudnevo site
